Cyanotype
Cyanotype also known as blue or sun printing was invented in 1842. A light sensitive material is created which can be applied to many textures and surfaces. Anna Atkins, a botanist, catalogued plants over a 10 year period soon after its invention. Cyanotype with images of plants and flowers has continued in popularity since then. Alongside traditional methods, I have incorporated botanical inks, pigments and other inclusions.
